Formed in 2021, Rock School Bus CIC (RSB) is a company that strives to ignite a passion for music in children and young people. "We play, sing, we enjoy every moment and give every child the opportunity to find a connection and start their journey with music and the arts”. Amber Sinclair (Director RSB).

Rock School Bus CIC (Community Interest Company) is an initiative designed to inspire children and young people to engage with and play music.

Rock School Bus CIC emerged after many years of extensive development and delivery of music outreach services to local children and young people across South Lincolnshire, led by director and music teacher Amber Sinclair. Recognising the area's extremely low cultural engagement and curriculum restraints in schools, Amber observed that financial and geographical barriers were isolating communities of young people and children from accessing quality music opportunities. This isolation increased their vulnerability to poor mental health and wellbeing. Her mission is to ensure that every child has access to music and arts experiences, enabling them to grow, develop essential skills, and lead successful, fulfilling lives.

All of our activities attract a wide and diverse section of the community, including individuals who might not otherwise be able to afford music lessons or attend school. The RBS team is dedicated to closing the socio-economic gap in music education, ensuring that every child and young person has access to music and creative arts. RBS is designed to best serve the needs of the local children and young people and plug the music gap in local music services; something Amber feels very passionate about, upholding the belief that music changes lives.

RSB provides exceptional opportunities for young people’s creative development. The South Holland district of South Lincolnshire lacks contemporary and inclusive musical opportunities. This need motivated Amber to create Rock School Bus (RBS) is self-contained and can travel to where young people live, enabling their participation.
