The Bee Kind Wellbeing Project CIC was established in response to the growing need for accessible, preventative mental health and wellbeing support within our local community. As our area continues to grow, many residents are newly relocated, building new lives without established support networks. We recognised a clear need for safe, inclusive spaces where people can connect, talk openly and access practical tools to support their mental health before reaching crisis point.
Operating under The Bee Kind Project umbrella, the CIC focuses specifically on delivering free and low-cost wellbeing, wellness and mental health sessions. Our mission is simple: wellbeing is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Financial barriers should never prevent someone from accessing support, and our model ensures affordability while maintaining quality and professionalism.
We deliver a diverse programme designed to meet people where they are. This includes monthly men’s mental health drop-ins, women’s circles, dedicated Blue Light wellbeing sessions supporting emergency service personnel, art-based creative workshops, music and drumming circles, mindfulness sessions and breathwork. Alongside our in-person gatherings, we provide online sessions to ensure accessibility for those unable to attend physically due to childcare, mobility, work patterns or confidence.
Our approach is preventative and community-led. Rather than clinical intervention alone, we focus on connection, creativity, conversation and practical coping strategies. Sessions are welcoming, non-judgemental and inclusive, creating spaces where individuals feel seen, heard and valued.
We also host larger community-building events such as a Family Summer Fun Day and a Christmas Fundraising Dinner to bring the wider community together, reduce isolation and strengthen local partnerships.
The Bee Kind Wellbeing Project is rooted in kindness, collaboration and sustainability. We work with qualified facilitators, local venues and community partners to ensure safe delivery and meaningful impact. Our long-term vision is to create a self-sustaining community wellbeing hub where support is accessible, proactive and embedded within everyday life.
In a world where you can be anything, Bee Kind.
