The Village Reset is a community-driven space blending creativity, fitness, and nutrition. Through shared meals, experiences, and learning, we’re creating a vibrant, inclusive hub for well-being.
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
The Village Reset – A New Kind of Community Space Imagine a place where creativity, health, nutrition, and shared experiences come together to transform village life. The Village Reset is the first step toward building a nationally scalable model that empowers local people as co-creators, not just customers. With this £5,000 campaign, we will generate user research to determine the pop -up experience shaped by real community needs. From third-age groups to youth and families, we will collate the views, opinions ,needs and wants of the community to shape the next stage of development. This is more than a project; it’s a movement. A new way of living, working, and thriving together, where contributors play a role beyond transactions, and where operations empower staff and volunteers with skills for the future. Your support brings us one step closer to a thriving, people-powered future—let’s make it happen.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The Village Reset – A Community-Led Revolution in Health, Creativity & Connection The Village Reset will revitalize our community, offering shared experiences, creativity, health, and nutrition in a way that is truly shaped by local people. This is more than a project—it’s a movement toward a thriving, people-powered future. Our area, like many others, faces rising isolation, health challenges, and a lack of inclusive spaces. Through pop-up experiences shaped by real user research, we will deliver what our community truly needs, whether it’s meal-sharing, creative workshops, wellness activities, or skills-building opportunities. This benefits families, youth, and the third age, empowering them not just as customers, but as co-creators. It also gives volunteers and staff real opportunities for skill-building and future growth. By supporting this, you’re investing in a model for villages nationwide—a future where communities create, connect, and thrive together!
Steps to get it done:
The Village Reset – A New Kind of Community Ownership & Innovation The Village Reset isn’t just a space—it’s a revolution in democratic consumerism, where villagers shape their own future. Unlike traditional businesses, our ground-breaking operational model empowers contributors—those who engage, create, and participate will have a real say in how the space evolves. This is a prototype for a nationally scalable movement. The future permanent space will seamlessly integrate tech-enabled community engagement, bridging online and offline experiences to create local cohesion and individual cultural empowerment. Dockside Studios CIC, is allied with Creative Reset Ltd, an Innovate UK award-winning ideation-implementation tank, to pioneer ventures that deliver next-generation services designed to empower citizens across the UK. Your support will help shape a new era of community-driven innovation, where people don’t just consume services—they co-create them!
