Sussex Against Bullying is a new organisation based in Bognor Regis West Sussex, Providing a youth club and holiday project for young people aged between 11-18 who have been affected by bullying.
The youth club, with an aim to increase the self-confidence and esteem of young people, affected by bullying, we are based at the Jenesis art centre on Linden road, will be run on a Wednesday from 4pm til 6.40pm and Saturday 11am-1pm providing different facilities including
-Free wi-fi
-Games console
-Pool table
-Table tennis
-Martial arts activities
We also give the young people to make friends while being in a safe environment and providing them with activities to help increase the self-confidence of young people
What we'll deliver:
- A youth club run twice a week
- A series of holiday projects
- Support for young people aged between 11-18 who have been affected by bullying
Why it's a great idea:
This project will give young people a safe haven where they can relax, have fun, be positive and receive help and support if needed
Steps to get it done:
- Get volunteers/ staff involved
- Start getting referrals from young people in
- Set a date for the youth club
- Start the youth club
- Organise our first holiday project
It will increase the self esteem and confidence of young people and helping them tackle bullying.
