Repton Community Trusts aim is to provide excellent resources and opportunities, empowering people to connect, build community and lead a more fulfilling life.
Repton Connect Community Centre is run by the trust, creating a place where people can belong and contribute.
Our longer term objectives are;
• People sharing knowledge with each other
• People being more socially and physically active
• People feeling more confident
• People having easy access to community facilities, the arts and sport .
Since Repton Connect Community Centre opened in October 2018 over 80,000 people have accessed learning and development opportunities, attended social events, learnt new skills and accessed essential services.
Our core projects include

* Community fridges distributing fresh surplus supermarket food to 100 people weekly.
*A recipe box scheme working with 90 people every 2 weeks, increasing skills and reducing long-term reliance on foodbanks.
*24hr food lockers used for people needing immediate access to food.
*A self isolation support project delivering food, well-being and activity packs to 1000 people per year including vulnerable members of the community with Covid/long-term ill health/people living in rural areas.
