Here is the current state of play: never mind that our project has been overfunded, the important thing is that we've reached our target with a little change to spare. What a great community we have to support this eminently worthwhile project. I thank you all so very much!

England may be through to the Euro finals (for those who don't follow football), but YOU HAVE DONE IT! The target fund has been reached with another 19 days to go before the projected finish. That's how you do it, England! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and willingness to support this project which will benefit all of us at the Old School, especially later on in autumn, winter and spring when heating and lighting won't be hampered by a lack of power through insufficient storage facility of electricity generated by the solar panels.
