The idea
The inspiration for The Chasers was a vision of football being played the right way with the right attitude and the right support without costing an arm and a leg. We pride ourselves on delivering training sessions that adhere to these principles. We also have big interest in our local community and hope to be involved as much as possible in improving our local area be it with the environment or the people. With this funding we will be able to occupy an underused or unused space and use it as our main training space. If this is achieved we will be able to put the money we make from the soccer school into staff training, reduced training rates and most importantly we will be able to hire qualified coaches to hold sports and activity sessions for the SEN children in our immediate area.
What we'll deliver
- Grow the academy
- Occupy underused/unused space in the community
- Purchase new equipment
Why it's a great idea
The community is in desperate need of a place for children to learn how to play football without paying ridiculous prices. The academy will fund the creation of Harlesden Chasers Football Club which will open up doors for local people to get involved in coaching, for youths to use their time more productively, offer high quality activities for SEN children and for the community which is far too often struck with tragedy of a young person being killed, drugs and crime to really benefit from a well run football club that has the community's best interests at heart.
Steps to get it done
- Boost marketing
- Identify space
- Purchase new equipment
