The idea
The TeenBridge Workshops initiative is a transformative six-week programme designed for adolescents aged 11–18, focusing on empowering vulnerable youth through self-awareness, resilience-building, and informed decision-making. By addressing challenges faced by these individuals, TeenBridge aims to foster personal growth and enhance mental health, while equipping participants with invaluable skills for navigating life's complexities. Steps to get it done
- Finalise curriculum design for the TeenBridge Empowerment Workshops.
- Secure venue(s) and delivery spaces through formal agreements with schools or community centers.
- Recruit and onboard facilitators, mentors, and volunteers
- Develop safeguarding policies and staff/volunteer training frameworks
- Launch outreach campaign targeting local schools, youth centers, and community groups.
- Enroll the first cohort of young participants aged 11–18
- Implement monitoring and evaluation tools (baseline surveys, progress tracking)
- Capture case studies and participant feedback to inform improvements
- Launch a structured volunteering program with training and supervision
- Issue certificates or references for volunteers to support their employability
- Run second and third workshop cycles in additional venues or boroughs.
