The idea
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic & the uncertainty over the 2020 cricket season, we are looking to raise money to cover the cost of kit & equipment that has already been purchased.
With the junior season at best being shortened or worst cancelled, we will have a huge reduction of income through membership & the courses we run.
As Taunton CC is run entirely by volunteers, all money raised above the amount to cover the equipment already purchased will be put back into the junior section to provide additional kit & also help fund a 'Family Club Day' to bring us all back together.
We want to ensure there is a place for the whole community to come together to play and enjoy cricket. It will be more important than ever once this is all over!

Why it's a great idea
Taunton CC provide the best facilities for junior cricket in the area catering for children from 4 years old & all abilities from beginner to county age group.
With your help, we can do our best to develop these children into the next Tom Abell.
We love our cricket club and want to ensure it survives this crisis. With your help, we will be open again as soon as possible once it is safe to do so.
Steps to get it done
- Run crowdfunding campaign to collect funds

- Start planning for the end of the lock down
