The idea
During the period that we are not allowed to play cricket or socialise at the clubhouse there will be no income for the club. Although the club is currently shutdown we still have outgoings.
This crowdfunding site is to raise funds to help Midsomer Norton Cricket Club over this period and runs from 14th May to the end of June 2020.
We want to ensure there is a place for the whole community to come together to play and enjoy cricket. It will be more important than ever once this is all over!
What we'll deliver
- Help pay for critical overheads during COVID crisis
- Cover ground maintenance and key running costs
- Ensure the club is able to survive until the lock-down ends
Why it's a great idea
To ensure the club is able to start up again as soon as the lock-down ends. We love our cricket club and want to ensure it survives this crisis. With your help, we will be open again as soon as possible once it is safe to do so.

- Start planning for the end of the lock down
