More about our impact
The local economy
We hosted a successful community event, whereby local traders, vendors and community groups were able to engage with over 2000 people over the two days. Our stall holders reported a very successful weekend of networking, making new connections and positive business.
Volunteering, jobs & education
We allowed local groups, Blades Down to come and present their on-going excellent community work with a stall over the two days - who also brought local volunteers (teenagers) along to assist with manning the stall, helping with general site duties and setting up/packing down. We also had the young news team from Ellesmere Port news assisting with the site setup and pack down as well as giving them an opportunity to carry out our media coverage of the event.
Arts, culture & heritage
We had over 30 live acts across two stages over the weekend. As well as this, we hosted local live artists who dazzled the crowd with stunning painting and illustrations on the second day of the festival.
Activity, health and leisure
We had a variety of stalls, groups and projects showcasing with us over the two days. We had a local PT, a local healthcare provider and a healthy food service speaking with the public about their offerings.
