The idea
This project collaborates with schools in Holbeach and surrounding villages to support children who are eligible for free school meals during term time but may face food insecurity during the summer holidays. By identifying those in need, the initiative provides tokens that children can use at participating local sandwich shops and cafes to access fresh, nutritious meals. The project not only ensures that these children receive proper nourishment but also supports the local economy by reimbursing the participating businesses for their contributions.
