Help Stitched Up Get Mobile
We are Stitched Up, a non-profit sewing cooperative who want to take our community workshops onto the road with a new custom built bike trailer!
About the Project Creator
Stitched Up started in 2011, with the aim of encouraging individuality, pride and sustainability through fashion and style. Today we are a not-for-profit cooperative who run garment making & upcycling workshops.
We are a grassroots collective that has grown from our passion for the environment, human-rights, style & creativity.
As well as upcycling workshops, we offer drop-in sessions, clothes swap parties, sewing machine hire, social gatherings and educational events that provide an alternative to the chain stores and empty shops of your average British high street.
All this from our HQ in Chorlton, Manchester, our home since the beginning of 2014. It’s a space for crafters, makers and tinkerers to share skills and ideas in a supportive environment.
The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
