Hello everyone! We are almost at our fundraising target! Thank you so much for all your support. Some of our partnerships for Stitch Academy are taking a bit longer to sort out and get in place over the summer holidays, so to help us get over the line we've extended our fundraising deadline until the 27th August. We're in the process of securing some sponsorship for our bursary studios and we are waiting for a few important business people to get back to work, and sign off on their Stitch Academy pledges! So whilst we crack the whip and harangue their colleagues, our fundraising efforts are still in full flow until the 27th! Looking forward to updating you all with more info soon. A big thank-you to everyone that has supported us so far! Thankyou! You are fabulous and your support is incredibly appreciated! We are just about to go live with our social media campaigns on Facebook and Twitter, so we'll try and send you these details soon to share on your feeds and with your networks. We've hosted a few fundraising events so far with Hackney Bureau and Hector & Noble, and a fundraising lunch for the Hackney Circle! Our next fundraising lunch with the Hackney Circle is on the 26th of June at Hector & Noble. We raised £500 previously and hope we'll be able to bring another 30 members to lunch to help raise some more funds! We'll put these events onto our Spacehive feed for you to see. Our Stitch Academy beer mats promoting our crowdfunding will be delivered soon for us to distribute throughout the borough. So hopefully you'll see these soon at your local cafes and restaurants. The manager of our campaign George Unsworth is also doing the Snowdon Trail Marathon on the 14th of July to help raise money for the Stitch Academy. You'll have to sponsor him separately with the funds coming to Spacehive after the 14th, so look out for his updates soon.
