Our ‘Stay Mentally Healthy’ Hub is inspired by the community’s response and need for more mental health provision. The Hub provides services which include SEJ training events, workshops, 1-1 consultations, ongoing support, and a drop-in café where people can chat with our volunteers about your specific mental health needs.
We give everyone the opportunity to empower their own mental health through supported, guided, accredited, and evidence-based self-help. Whether a person is currently living with poor mental health, struggling with their thoughts and feelings, having suicidal thoughts, or simply wishes to learn the tools to stay mentally healthy, we are here to help.
The Hub is the mental health equivalent to the gym. Whether you go to the gym to maintain your peak performance or to address your health, our Stay Mentally Health Programmes are built to meet these same needs. We’ve created this community crowdfunding project so you can contribute whatever amount you can. Thank you.

Why it's a great idea:
Provides necessary mental health support to the community with an accredited and evidence-based tailored programme.
Prevention, intervention, and ongoing support for those in need of mental health assistance.
Extend our reach impacting 1000’s of people using digital channels to widen our message, provide support, and inclusion.
The Hub provides a safe place and first point of contact reducing isolation whilst also providing volunteer opportunities.
Enable individuals and their families to better understand how they can empower themselves and their loved ones.
The 1-1 consultations and training can be delivered online or in-person, where individuals can connect according to their own circumstances and needs whilst progressing at their own pace.
Through progression there is an opportunity to use the lived experience and train as consultants/trainers to develop a new career and ‘pay it forward’ through probono work giving back to the community.
Fosters self-responsibility and service.
Steps to get it done:
- Promotional activities to spread the word about who we are and what we do
- Setting up social media campaigns and interactive support groups to encourage inclusion and address isolation
- Recruit more volunteers
- Provide all training and workshops
- Provide 1-1 consultations
- Training more SEJ consultants and trainers to provide probono work
We encourage the local community to volunteer in running the Hub with the aim of opening more frequently to meet the community demand. Qualified SEJ Consultants and Trainers are encouraged to volunteer hours at the Hub, in turn we can train people to become SEJ Consultants and Trainers developing skills to support the local community and offer regular training and consultant services.
The training is available for the whole community including individuals, families, children, educational settings and businesses. Everyone can benefit from the SEJ Process training and services originating and created from a lived experience, offered by qualified SEJ consultants, trainers and experienced volunteers.
We are seeking donations for the Hub services. We need funds to provide the training and 1-1 services and ongoing support in this safe space. We also need funding to let everyone know we are here, to further our reach, to help those in need with mental health concerns.
