The environment
With over 30 different species of flowering perennials, shrubs and climbers the local pollinators will certainly have plenty to choose from!
Volunteering, jobs & education
We had a few volunteers lend a hand with the project, one of whom had never done any planting before. It was great to see him take to it straight away - the sense of accomplishment was quite obvious on his face!
Activity, health and leisure
Our garden improvement will encourage the residents of the lounge to spend more time in the newly tidied-up, replanted gardens, meaning improved mental health and more time spent outside in fresh air.
