Last summer wasps invaded our light fittings and we were met daily by the smell of toasted wasps. It's not welcoming. It's time for update the fittings by LED and let the wasps find a new home. Post COVID-19 Phase 1 will see a quick fix with the present fittings in the Main Hall retrofitted cutting the running cost by 75%. Phase 2 is the kitchen and stairs. Longer term - because we need permission for the historic building - is a designed installation to show off the building to its best. If you've been one of the many groups who use St Andrew's and can help us recover from COVID-19 and think its time to bring it up to date this is your opportunity

What we'll deliver:

  • Updated Light Fittings in the Main Hall

Why it's a great idea:

A building recovering from COVID-19 ready for the next 50 years. Cut our running costs by 75% which in turn helps us keep the hire costs.

Steps to get it done:

  • Sept 2020 Phase 1
  • Dec 2020 Phase 2

St A's is a Heritage building - its been there for nearly 1000 years and we are privileged to look after it. It can survive COVID-19 and be even better.
