The team behind St Albans Unlocked are two local residents with a combined history in St Albans of 55 years between them!
Linda Chandler (Hyperlocal Cities) is an independent smart cities advisor, working on a portfolio of engagements focused on energy and built environment. Linda believes that the influence of smart cities needs to be felt at a local level by working on solving important problems that have long-term outcomes. With over 25 years in the technology sector, her passion for cities was initially sparked as Chief Information Officer for the London Development Agency and further consolidated over 10 years as smart cities lead for Microsoft in the UK and Asia.
Amanda Derrick (Connected Digitally) is a Digital Consultant specialising in delivering outcomes through innovative and enabling technology. Amanda has a strong track record of strategic development; visionary innovation; digital transformation; channel shift; building successful delivery teams and transference of digital solutions. She has worked in both the public and private sector and in education. Amanda was awarded the OBE in the New Years Honours List 2012, for Services to Families and Children.
