SPACE GAP - London Design Festival 2018

The pavilion has been built and constructed! We had a fantastic first talk with an incredible group of insightful panellists discussing 'The Policy Gap' and the housing crisis. Yesterday we discussed the 'The Design Gap'. This panel will discuss the role of design, and of the designer, in tackling the housing crisis. Tonight’s debate is titled ‘Space Gap: who has the right to space in the city and how we deal with this in the future?’ Each talk is followed by short film screenings that document lived experiences and issues that relate to the Space Gap. The works address a range of subjects including homelessness, gentrification, social housing and regeneration in the city. Please come if you are free. Our backers do not need tickets, just turn up!
