We want to empower young people to improve unused or under used spaces within their communities.
Brilliant news, thanks everyone!
we run supper clubs, serving 2£ 2 course meals in east Salford, we currently operate once a week. we wish to expand to 5 supper clubs a week serving hot nutritious meals in a restaurant like setting.
we cook high quality restaurant style food, but made from potential food waste from fare share. we teach and train volunteers in both kitchen and front of house skills. over the next few months we are seeking to expand to 5 nightly supper clubs, in venues across east Salford. The crowd funding we are seeking is especially important because it will unlock £5000 of grant funding through the spaces 4 change program.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
sourced in Salford is trying something which is a brand new idea that has never been done in east Salford, it is a brand new approach to dining on a budget.
Steps to get it done:
in the 6 months we have been operational, we have been part of the Salford food and drink festival, our founder won a heart of Salford award, we won the inaugural Manchester bright sparks competition. As well as receiving £6000 of business support via locality. We have received funding from both unltd and power to change.
