Hi, I’d like to provide an update on some of the events we’ve been working on to promote the Liberties. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback from the story collection initiative and were developing an app to share these stories. However, there was limited public interest in listening to longer stories. Hence, we’ve incorporated them into a treasure hunt. We’re pleased to share that we have been selected to organize a treasure hunt as part of the Culture Dates with Dublin 8 festival. https://www.culturedatewithdublin8.ie/whats-on/treasure-hunt-with-travel-trackie This will involve five days of events to showcase the area and engage the community. Please join us if you can. After the events, we’ll create an impact report and share it with you. We’ll then move on to the next phase of the project. Do you have any other areas of Dublin in mind that you’d like us to explore? The Spacehive application deadline is April 30, 2025, and we can submit an application and work to raise awareness for another area. What are your thoughts?

We are organising events as part of the Dublin City Learning Festival to promote the cultural heritage of The Liberties. These events are the result of Adriana Canovas’ efforts. She has kindly taken on the responsibility of organising and marketing them for the festival. Hi, I have created the first prototype to demonstrate the project's progress. https://liberties.voices-of.com/ You can record stories and upload them for others to hear. The recommendation section allows you to specify your listening preferences, which helps provide personalized story suggestions. I have collected several stories that we are currently editing to ensure they're enjoyable to listen to. Thanks.

We're thrilled to announce that we've not only reached our funding target but exceeded it by 29%, opening new possibilities for our initiative. A project that will preserve the rich heritage while strengthening the bonds that make our community unique.
