Updates
Hello to all the lovely generous people who have donated to project mini bus. Just a quick update, obviously it now takes a bit of time to collect all the pledges, thus, we are just waiting on the last few to come in. The funds are being held by 'go cardless' until either all the money is collected, or it reaches a certain amount, and then it gets paid into the Sociability bank account ready for us to search out a really good deal on a mini bus. Thank you all, I will provide an update when we have the new wheels x
A special thank you to every person who pledged, to be honest i thought we might be lucky to reach a thousand pounds. So, to have made it to seven thousand pounds is amazing, I'm lost for words 'not often I know' what wonderful Christmas present for all of our members, I'm so happy for us all. There was a little concern at the end there, an error at Spacehive meant we came up as 'unsuccessful', I can't tell you what that felt like, still, it has now been sorted out now and we managed to pick up an extra 650 pounds from Basildon council on Monday, something very good coming by way of something which appeared to be very bad. I can't thank you all enough, such generous and kind people, have a lovely Christmas and a great 2019... Jonathan Barrow Sociability Chairman
