Supporting Our Local Foodbanks

Our funding appeal ended on 31st May, and now the process of collecting the pledges will begin. Thank you to everyone who has pledged to the fund. As soon as all the funds are collected in we will update you with the final total (online and offline donations) and with how the funds will be distributed. Again, thank you, we couldn't have done it without you!

We are delighted to say that we have just received an offline donation towards our food bank appeal of £100 (by cheque) from a South Lakes Labour member who does not have internet access. As this came to us directly we cannot include it in the running total amount of pledges shown on the page above, but it will be added to the total received via this Spacehive pledge page once the appeal closes and we share the funds between our four local food banks. Our total (pledges and cheque) now stands at a marvellous £689! Thank you to everyone who has pledged or donated to this appeal for the food banks of the Westmorland & Lonsdale area.

A huge thank you to all those who have pledged support so far. We have exceeded our expectations already, and we are now at 132% of our target. The project will continue so that we can raise much-needed funds for the food banks across the South Lakes, who are doing such important work in feeding needy families in these challenging times. Those families can't say thank you to you personally but we can on their behalf, so again THANK YOU for all your generosity, and please share the link to our fund raiser page here with all of your friends and contacts.

Today we've reached 84% pledged, which is fabulous.Thank you to all our pledgers for getting us this far. We have just £70 more to raise to reach our target. Please spread the word amongst your friends and help us get there. Every penny we raise will go to the food banks to help them feed hungry families across the South Lakes area.
