The environment
As part of the project we carried out regular litter picks. Being in the sea also makes individuals more aware of their environment and the impact we have on it.
Volunteering, jobs & education
4 surf coaches were trained and 20 attendees trained as volunteers and have attended our other sessions
Activity, health and leisure
each session helped increase the mental and physical wellbeing of the participants, especially as our sessions were specifically structured for over 50's
