'Silent Approach' is a poignant theatrical production based on the true story of a police officer's courageous journey through mental health challenges. The play delves into the life of a Lancashire police officer who battled psychosis and explores the factors contributing to her mental health crisis. Audiences will follow her through her tansformative time in a psychiatric unit, highlighting the critical lessons she and society need to learn, and ultimately her inspiring path to recovery and return to duty. The production aims to foster a deeper understanding of mental health issues within high-pressure professions like the police force. By shining a spotlight on the often-unseen struggles and triumphs, Silent Approach seeks to challenge stigma and promote empathy and awareness. At the end of each performance, a Q&A session will feature mental health charities. providing a platform for insightful discussions and emphasising the necessity for increased mental health education.

The project seeks to diminish stigma by presenting a raw and honest depiction of recovery.
