Question: How long it'll take to have the upgrade complete?
Answer: Once payment is done 12 months.
Question: Which speed rate shall we expect to have?
Answer: Speeds will depend on distance from the cabinet. Those close by could get 70Mbps + - those furthest away 30Mbps +
Question: Is Openreach in discussion with Seaton Park developer to fund the upgrade of cabinet 4?
Answer: Cabinet 4 will not be upgraded by the Developers. Openreach have been down that route previously in an effort to secure alternative funding but with no success.
Discussions with Openreach are being made directly by me, Mr. Steve is attending me over the reference number 21889.

Why it's a great idea
A significant amount of families are suffering with near useless internet connection in Seton Park area due to lower speed and/or huge seek time.
Till now there is no sign that the upgrade of cabinet 4 will be funded soon, due to that Openreach suggested that funding it by ourselves could be a faster and secure solution.
In addition to the obvious advantage of having a faster internet connection, as some neighbors observed, the upgrade of cabinet 4 shall have a direct impact on the attractiveness of the properties of Seton Park to the market.
Steps to get it done
- Funds received by Openreach and contract signed.
- Cabinet 4 upgraded.
