The idea
The idea of this project is to undertake a feasibility study into whether or not it is worth restoring the vessel known as the Seamark. This will be done by approaching the local community to see what they would like done with the Seamark. We will ask the local community if they would like to see the Seamark restored so that it gets preserved for future generations as we believe it is part of the local maritime heritage.
An online survey will be conducted over several months in order to take the views of the local community, once done the data will be collated and presented to the local people through online means.
In order to get word to the local community leaflets will be delivered to the local area with details of the vessel and how to fill out the survey. We will also use social media to engage with the local community on this matter as well as the local newspaper.
We will also be working with local architects to produce images of what the Seamark would look like once resorted.

Why it's a great idea
This feasibility study will show that the local community are always being asked about what they would like to see done in their local area. We are hoping to bring the local community together on this project not only at this stage but also going forward if it turns out that the local community would like to see the Semark resorted.
This study will also disseminate information about the Semark to the local community widening their maritime knowledge of the local area.
