You are officially invited to our “Saving Sefton’s Squirrels Thank You Event” at Mere Sands Wood on Saturday 20th May, 10am-1pm. Address: Mere Sands Wood, Holmeswood Road, Rufford, Ormskirk L40 1TG We want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our project, and what better way than a free celebration event? The event will start in the classroom at Mere Sands Wood for a presentation about our project and how the money raised will help red squirrels, followed by a guided tour of the Mere Sands Wood site. Refreshments will be provided in the classroom, and we will be on hand to answer any of your questions. Car parking is free to all our guests. This week we reached our fundraising target, and we couldn't be happier! We can't thank you all enough for every single pledge, like, share and comment that allowed us to raise a grand total of £13,180 for red squirrels.
