At Things Made Public CIC, we believe that art and culture is for everyone. We also believe that art can be an incredible vehicle for exploring the places in which we live, helping us to fall in love with the brilliant parts, and challenge the bits that we believe need changing. We often find that art and culture can be hard to access, and for some people extremely intimidating. We chose to work in non-traditional spaces, and in doing so break down those invisible barriers that stop so many people engaging in the arts.
Things Made Public are a multidisciplinary cultural community interest company, specialising in cultural place making and creative enterprise. All of our work is bespoke to the places in which we work, and inspired by the people we work with.
We are extremely proud that our work has been recognised at a national level, having been awarded ‘Special Recognition Award’ at The Great British High Street Awards, as well as having received numerous other accolades such as ‘Winner: Business Person of the Year’ Havering Business Awards, ‘Finalist: Cause Related Marketing’ Purple Apple Awards and ‘Winner: Best After Work Venue’ Night Life Awards.
