Beyond Futures Community CIC is a community organisation dedicated to helping people overcome barriers to employment, education and skills. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build a better future, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our mission is to improve lives by connecting people with the support, opportunities and confidence they need to progress into sustainable employment, apprenticeships, training and further education.
Our flagship programme, RISE (Routes Into Skills & Employment), provides personalised one-to-one support, careers guidance and practical employability advice for people who are unemployed, economically inactive, changing careers or facing barriers to work. We help participants develop action plans, improve CVs, prepare for interviews, search for employment and access opportunities through referrals to employers, apprenticeship providers, colleges, Functional Skills, ESOL and other specialist support services.
Beyond Futures works collaboratively with employers, training providers, local authorities, community organisations and other partners to create clear progression pathways rather than duplicate existing services. We recognise that many people need personalised guidance to navigate the wide range of opportunities available, and our role is to provide trusted support that helps individuals take confident next steps towards achieving their goals.
Our services are delivered through community outreach, partner venues, libraries and community centres, ensuring support is accessible within local neighbourhoods. As the organisation grows, we aim to establish dedicated community spaces where individuals can access ongoing employability support, careers advice and progression services in a welcoming environment.
Beyond Futures Community CIC is committed to creating lasting social impact by improving confidence, increasing employability, strengthening local partnerships and helping residents build sustainable futures. Every programme we deliver is designed to reduce barriers, increase opportunity and contribute to stronger, more inclusive communities across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
