revamp of gym and studio started fundraising!6 years ago

We are a registered charity called the. bar gym located in Worthing town centre, we have been here for nearly 10 years and are in dire need of some new equipment and decoration of studio/changing
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
The gym has a variety of weights and equipment we desperately need new dumbbells and plates as they are over 1 years old and in need of repaid replacement. Our studio which hosts boxing and kickboxing classes for adults and juniors is in need of redecoration, new boxing canvas and bags, the changing rooms need new showers and flooring. With any funding we can maintain our facilities and continue to offer classes to the local community in martial arts and boxing, we have a large junior membership at the gym and cater for all abilities.

Why it's a great idea:
we help lots of people in the local community get fit and enjoy a healthily lifestyle, we encourage in particular young people to tale up boxing martial arts to start them on healthy life style path, we are always sending our young boxers to compete around the UK and locally. Our gym is a family based unit with many members there for 10 years, we have junior NUS memberships for 13 years and upwards and work with many people who struggle with life obesity, mental health problems, bullying by using fitness we have changed peoples lives.

VolunteerWe run a gym and boxing martial arts classses for everyone young and old , our youngest members are 4 years and our oldest are 80 years of age.
We strive to help everyone we sponsor our boxers and kickboxers to compete at all levels and we encourage a healthly lifestyle and postive mental atitudes at all times, we have members with lots of personal issues in their lives obseity , mental illness , low self eteem.
Project Owner: the bar gym, The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
