To refurbish and update the toilet areas at our community hub and install baby changing facilities.
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
The toilet facilities at our hub have not been refurbished since the hall was built. At the moment we have no baby changing facilities and the area is cold and uninviting. We want to turn them into a modern, clean, inviting space that is child and family friendly. We want to install a wall mounted baby changing unit, replace the cold ceramic toilet seats, fit new paper towel and soap dispensers, provide a lockable storage cupboard to keep necessary supplies in, install two wall mounted electric heaters as there is no heating at all in the toilet area and also redecorate and gloss. As our hub is getting more busy and families are attending this is desperately needed to ensure people have safe and hygienic facilities to use.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
This will provide safe and hygienic washrooms for hub users to use and also provide a much needed baby change facility. We hope this will encourage more families to stay at our hub longer as they have the facilities they need. Refurbishing the toilet area will also allow us to provide more activities for families with babies/young children as we would have the correct and useable facilities they need. As our hub is growing this is something we desperately need.
