They're here! A little over a week after the crowdfunder closed, the scaffolding went up and James got to work on the pandas. After four (thankfully) warm, dry and still days, his work was complete. The white wall was also repainted to help the mural stand out as much as possible. The end product looks amazing. It's been lovely to see the positive reaction of people walking or cycling by, the pandas often taking them by surprise! Children (including my own) get especially excited to see it, pointing it out or having their photo taken in front of it. Thanks to you all for making it happen. All best, Felix
WE DID IT! A huge thanks to all of you for contributing to the new red panda mural! We've successfully reached our fundraising target. We are now liaising with the scaffolders and the owners of the property to organise dates for James to paint the mural, hopefully at the beginning of June. We'll let you know when dates are confirmed, but we shouldn't have to wait too long until the red panda is on display for all to see - very exciting!
