The idea
We aim to foster creativity, confidence, and teamwork while making the performing arts accessible to all, regardless of background or financial situation. This group will help young people come together, learn the value of team work, learn emotional expression, build confidence, enhance literacy, communication, and language skills through script reading and performance and offer an inclusive and supportive environment for social interaction. We will promote health and wellbeing in young people by supporting children’s emotional expression and confidence building, offering an inclusive and supportive environment for social interaction thereby providing a creative outlet to reduce stress and anxiety.

Why it's a great idea
By creating this group we are looking to strengthen local communities by bringing families
together through performances, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills
and we will be partnering with local schools, colleges, amateur dramatics societies and other
youth organizations to maximize impact. Representatives from our cast will be involved in with
decision making on the committee to empower them all. We will be working with theatres and
staff in the local community and wider area to help produce our shows, employing locally skilled .
We are also trying to raise enough funds so that there is no cost to any of our young people to take part in our productions so that there will be no financial barriers for anyone involved.
