OUR VISION
Where disability holds no boundaries for children today and in the future.
OUR MISSION
To break down boundaries for disabled children and their families by building an inspiring movement for inclusion, providing life-changing mobility and sensory equipment and offering meaningful family services.
Children Today is a children's disability charity based in Chester that supports disabled children and young adults (up to the age of 25). The charity was founded in 1994 to help provide support services and vital adapted equipment, offering greater freedom, independence and an improved quality of life.
Our aim is to help improve both the physical and mental wellbeing of the individuals we support, which often in turn impacts the wider family as a whole. Having access to the equipment and support they need, means these children and families is often truly life-changing. From simply enabling a family to spend more quality time together to empowering a young adult to take the leap into further education or their dream career.
It is our mission to raise awareness of the inequalities and hardships faced within the disabled and neurodivergent communities and to advocate for a more inclusive world. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live they life they choose.
