At Quaker Street, every bubble tea and coffee we serve is locally sourced and crafted to perfection, but for the Quaker Street team, this is just the beginning.
We’ve created an inspiring meeting ground for artists and young professionals to come together, enjoy their coffee, but more importantly, enjoy art, music, and one another.
We believe in the power of creativity to break down walls between people, and we’ve seen it first-hand. By the end of our first art exhibition, people who met as strangers, left as friends. Since our beginning, we have been supporting the creative community. We have held in our small space, may solo and group art shows, poetry nights, film nights and workshops for sectors of creative industries.
We have become a platform and hub for creatives in the Shoreditch area, removing barriers of entry associated with the high costs in the area. Our events and support has allowed creatives to build projects and works that they can use in their portfolios that demonstrates their abilities. It has helped creatives to market themselves to tender work from clients and also to build a network that can helps them to colloborate and deliver a service. We have helped creatives to build confidence and attain experience with business acumen. Why do we do this, because we believe in innovation, creativity and community.
