As a community we hold an annual processionknown as Lostock Hall Carnival. The event invites the local community to come together and celebrate all that happens in our small village. Since 2019 and the Covid pandemic the procession has not taken place and the sense of community has been reduced.
As a new comitte we plan to renew the old traditions of a carnival procession and celebrate the the culture and history of our small village by holding a new and improved procession which will start on Wateringpool Lane, along Browendge rd, down Prospect ave, on to moss lane before turning on to Watkin Lane and on to the recreation ground at the cetre of the village. Here there will be a field festival for the local community to join together. This will include displays from local community groups, sports groups and live music.
