Deriving from the notion (more like a dream) of living, working and creating as freely and legally possible, Namiwa Jazz (Lauren Naomi Hutchinson) age 22 decided that she was going to make a real difference in her own life and the lives of people around her. Lauren founded Namiwa Change Formation late 2016 and began tradion this year (2017).
NCF Is a celebration of the unconventional; of radicle and subversive thinking- it’s a ‘place’ where anything feels possible. NCF, as well as others, has an aim to provide the environment, resources, contacts and inspiration to lead a full creative life.
Namiwa Change Formation is working in the community empowering people (mainly women from the BME community group)and spaces through the arts. NCF is fluid in structure and is very much shaped by its own community; it’s a living organism fuelled by LOVE! We stand up in our truth and the truths of the community. NCF works holistically within its community, educating and informing the importance and value of heath, the environment, and the arts.
“NCF is more than art projects and funding applications, in fact it is much more than the word social enterprise as we know it. NCF is a way of life; an opportunity to choose artistic freedom and liberation. NCF is a gateway for many and a potential solution for all, no matter ones age, gender or race. NCF to work to empower people to stand up for the life and their truth!”
