More about our impact
The environment
I had ambitious plans for this and we did manage to have some conversations around the connections between mess and wildness. I did also deliver a workshop at the Centre for Alternative Technology in the lead up to the project delivery that also developed this conversation. As a part of the project I also worked closely with Oswestry in Bloom and delivered workshops for their well dressing project and was part of the judging days for both Britain in Bloom and Heart of England in Bloom. We also delivered a workshop at Babbinswood Farm involving making paints with natural materials which deepened the conversation.
The local economy
We worked closely with Love Oswestry and Oswestry Bid as well as a number of other partner organisations to make sure our project supported the visitor economy.
Volunteering, jobs & education
We employed two freelance practitioners paying recognised fair rates of pay.
Arts, culture & heritage
We delivered on our aim to create a project for all ages and opening up creativity to all in an accessible and inclusive way at the heart of the town. We also developed a project that enhanced the look of the town centre itself.
Activity, health and leisure
There WAS walking and jumping and digging and pushing and stretching!!
