Founded in 2010, Healthbox CIC is a trusted not-for-profit with a long-standing history of delivering frontline public health across Ellesmere Port and Chester. We have deep roots in local neighbourhoods, running community activites, counselling, and social prescribing.
Our strength lies in reaching "hard-to-reach" individuals who face digital barriers, mental health stigma, or mistrust of formal authority. To engage them, we use a proactive "side-door" approach. By placing services inside a busy Asda (Ellesmere Port) and St Mary’s Creative Space (Chester), we will support people in familiar, non-clinical spaces where they feel safe and anonymous.
These two distinct hubs will operate as a connected "Twin-Site Pilot." Running on a "No Wrong Door" policy, they will share staff expertise, compare engagement data, and run a joint monthly feedback loop. This allows us to rapidly share best practices and support very vunerable people in Chester and Ellesmere Port
