Come and join us for this special opportunity to learn more about Polish culture, society, food and history. This year we will celebrate 250-years anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and Great Britain. We will open our festival with Traditional Polish dance - Polonaise and then listen poetry performed by children and adults. We will then rest at neighbouring picnic and enjoy amazing food or watch Local Talent Show. On the site you can also enjoy family games, workshops, polish traditional food and products. Also, anyone can win a prize in our Lottery. Take blankets with you to be able to relax in the bosom of nature. There will be so much fun and attraction for children including bouncy castle, face painting and bubble show.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Polish community have organised already such events for families and curious adults in different locations in Great Britain. All the time those events have proved that British people like to explore, respect and value Polish culture. At times, society can feel increasingly divided, but great ideas like our festival bring people together, and break down the barriers that exist. We would like to build strong, friendly relationship within local communities. There will be opportunity to meet new people and integrate with them. Enjoying each other's company, through fun activities. We hope that this will be great opportunity to start this achievement. Our goal is to bring different cultures and different communities together because a true POWER is where communities working together.
Steps to get it done:
In the atmosphere of friendship and cordiality, we will celebrate these important anniversaries in the 3rd edition of the Polish Heritage Days but for the first time in London Borough of Hounslow.
