Providing support and funding to cricket clubs across the country as they return to cricket.
Please help Consett Cricket Club through COVID-19 so we can continue to offer cricket to adults and children once the lockdown is over.
Just like many other organisations and community sports clubs, the COVID-19 lockdown has had a big impact on Consett Cricket Club. We have suffered a huge loss of income due to reduced sponsorship and reduced bar sales. Despite this, we still have bills to pay including insurance, rent, club house maintenance and pitch maintenance. To be able to continue to provide cricket for the local community we need your help to meet some of these costs. Money that you donate will be partially matched by the England & Wales Cricket Board so please give generously! We hope to see cricket back at Consett soon.

Continue to provide cricket and coaching for adults, young people and children. We believe it is vital to encourage everyone, especially young people, to participate in a sport such as cricket to promote health, teamwork and in many cases a sense of achievement.

VolunteerConsett Cricket Club is located at Hope Street Blackhill. Renowned for its fantastic views and inclusive approach, we believe we are a fantastic part of our local community. We currently field 3 senior teams competing in the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League and a growing junior section numbering greater than 75. We look forward to welcoming more local children and families when the Covid 19 crisis is over.
