Design and build a new, inclusive play area for the Whitmore Way community.
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
Our idea is to bring the community together in order to help this wonderful space realise its full potential and become a safe place for our children to play, explore, learn and grow.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Play is an important part of children's development for so many reasons; it encourages them to use their imagination, develop their social and language skills as well being great for their physical education and overall health. This project will benefit the community in so many ways; provide a safe , interactive, inclusive play area for the children; new tennis/basketball equipment for teenagers, bring the community together to achieve something that will be enjoyed by a large proportion of local residents and generally improve the image of the area.
