Rushwick's Big Jubilee Party will be held at the Cricket Club on 2nd June 2022, from 1pm to 8pm, where the village's 1,500 residents will celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in style, with music, entertainment, bar drinks, food, and lots of fun activities for kids. But, to make this a really special day for the village, we need help with funding, so please make a donation to help us put on a party to remember!

What we'll deliver:

• A superb open-air venue
• Live music and a great DJ
• Bar drinks, including a Pimm's & Prosecco tent
• Barbecue food, pizzas, ice cream and traditional cream teas,
• Bouncy castle, and lots of other entertainment and fun for the kids
• All the necessary loos, staging, marquees, PA system, etc

Why it's a great idea:

Rushwick's Big Jubilee Party will bring the whole community back together, for the first time in over two years since the onslaught of Covid. It will also enable the village to welcome its newer residents to the community, from several new housing developments across Rushwick. Finally, it will highlight the Cricket Club as an attractive venue for healthy sport and friendship for people of all ages.

Steps to get it done:

• Ordering items required for the event
• Gathering volunteers from the Club and village
• Setting up the staging, PA system, toilets, bar and BBQ facilities
• Opening the event to the community, ensuring a safe & enjoyable day for all
