The idea
The Phoenix Festival is a vibrant, multi-cultural arts and music event held annually in Cirencester's Abbey Grounds over the August bank holiday weekend. Attracting over 18,000 attendees, the festival celebrates community spirit with an inclusive atmosphere where all generations come together. Established in 2013 by a local youth group, it features an impressive lineup ranging from local talent to national headline acts. Its Creative Wellbeing Zone highlights the link between artistic activities and mental health, while the arena showcases performances by local groups and organisations. The Phoenix Festival reflects a passion for fostering connections and inspiring creativity.
