Dear Folks... Just sending a little update: We've been running Community Lunches in the area whilst our lease is finalised, and will soon be starting to rip out the old kitchen to build the new one from your donations. We'll be posting updates when it happens. YES!!! WE DID IT!!! TOGETHER WE RAISED £32,500 to build People's Kitchen's first Community Kitchen Cafe and Hub!!! Wow! Its been pretty amazing to feel the levels of support from so many giving souls and we've still got 1 day of fundraising to go!!! https://www.spacehive.com/peoples-kitchen It's Valentines... and we're ever hopeful: With a little extra love we can furnish our outdoor space too and help activate the park at the same time...Lets see what we can do in one day. Here's what the extra funds will get us: £1,000 towards large outdoor beanbags, £750 for Mobile seating with planters, £250 for plants, £750 for mobile room dividers (creating a little privacy for outdoor sessions). £1,500 will pay for expensive Second Hand Commercial Coffee Machine, Smoothie Maker and Dough Mixer.
