Our Walking with Radicals guided walks promote sustainable tourism and encourage participants to ditch the automobile!
The local economy
The Radicals programme has supported our rural economies around the Pendleside villages, promoting cultural tourism and stimulating many additional visits.
Volunteering, jobs & education
Pendle Radicals is a project powered by volunteers! 198 individuals are now signed up to our sharing group on Facebook, and groups of Radicals volunteers continue to engage in a huge variety of inspirational research.
Arts, culture & heritage
Pendle Radicals has created new cultural capital for our Pennine Lancashire area, telling long lost stories of neglected, historic figures and inspiring a new generation with these tales.
Activity, health and leisure
Radicals gets local people and visitors out into our wonderful countryside, in a win win for health, wellbeing and pride of place.
