The idea
The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in widespread disruption to our way of life. For us, it has meant the suspension of all cricket for an unspecified period. Without being able to run training or host matches, all of our regular sources of income have stopped.
This fundraising initiative is intended to help stabilise our financial position so that the club is ready and able to return to action as soon as it is safe to do so. While we have attempted to cut all unnecessary spending, there are a number of areas of committed spend that cannot be deferred.
We invite those players and supporters who are in a financial position to do so to offer us their support. Their generosity will not able help the club to continue but to also help ensure we can keep our fee levels low so that cricket remains affordable and accessible to as many people in our community as possible.
What we'll deliver
- Recover the cost of playing kit for our brand new women's team
- Recover the cost of non-refundable competition entry fees
Why it's a great idea
Ongoing access to cricket at an affordable rate for the communities we represent in Oxford and North West London.
Steps to get it done
- Sufficient funds to pay for committed pre-season equipment purchases
