The idea
Improve the Oval green space by adding raised beds (to be filled with flowers, herbs and eventually vegetables for the community to pick and eat). Build a bug hotel, with local nursery & school involved, inviting them up for bug hunting activities. Add more trees and wildflowers.

Why it's a great idea
The Oval green space has been unused by residents for many years, with the exception of dog walkers. With a little bit of love over the past 2 years, we are seeing a real increase of families using the space for picnics and walks. The local school and nursery have both enjoyed visiting for outdoor activities including tree planting, seed sowing and bug hunting. We would like to improve the space even further, and help even more residents benefit from this beautiful green space on our doorsteps.
