Outside to Happiness in Roker

Fantastic news - we have hit our funding target! Thank you for all our pledges. The final push was achieved thanks to grant funding from Northumbrian Water at The Community Foundation Tyne and Wear (apologies, not listed in our backers, just due to the system and how we could show the grant). Everyone around Roker Park is delighted with our swans and their cygnet. It would be amazing to be able to engage families this summer with the wildlife in the Park. Raising understanding and knowledge with our youngsters through great swan themed activities. Home stretch now with our fundraising. Please do share our page where you can. Thank you

Following the fantastic pledges through Crowdfund Sunderland, Public Health and the Clinical Commissioning Group on top of our wonderful support from the community we are now at 91% of our funding total. We also have a very strong indication of support of a pledge of 50% of our balance if we can secure the rest. With a balance of £432, that of course means that pledges of £216 would secure us the full fundraising total! Alongside engaging individual supporters we are also looking to local businesses who may be able to pledge to support community projects - so please do share our campaign with anyone you think could support us. We are now cautiously making plans, we have pencilled in some dates and fingers crossed we will have a fun packed busy summer

We are absolutely delighted with our great news yesterday of pledges from Sunderland City Council - Crowdfund Sunderland Fund and Public Health Fund and from Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Group. We are now very close to our target and hopefully a great summer of activities. Please do share our campaign again if you can.
